On Thursday 31st March 2022, nine emerging Mediterranean artists from jazz and traditional music backgrounds will present a repertoire of new music developed throughout an intercultural residency hosted at the heart of the Gharb community, under the direction and mentorship of jazz celebrity Fabrizio Cassol. This free concert, which is being supported by APS Bank, will commence at 19:30 with readings by local writers through a collaboration with Inizjamed and the performance will follow at 20:00.
Liana DeBattista, Chief Strategy Officer at APS Bank stated, “We are proud of the Bank’s role in ensuring a flourishing cultural life in our communities. This project was ideal to support as it is working directly within the Gharb community and giving a platform for emerging artists to develop their talent through the residency programme. We are looking forward to the performance by these musicians with different styles, influences and backgrounds.”
