APS Bank plc supported the ‘Innovative Climate Solution’ Award, which was recently presented during the Malta Business Awards. This award was co-created in conjunction with the Malta Chamber of SME’s, as the Bank wanted to recognise green initiatives that aim to address climate change. The inaugural ceremony recognised local entities which showcased their achievements and success stories in relation to wellbeing, innovation, sustainability, smart solutions and strategies.
Matthew Swain, Senior ESG Manager, participated in the judging process of the submitted nominations in this category and presented the award during the MBA gala night. He commented, “It was indeed a pleasure being part of the process and analysing the various submissions received for this category. Well done to WES Trade Ltd on winning this award, as well as the runners up, which were all strong submissions.”
