On 1 June 2022, the 10th edition of the St John’s Orchestral Charity Concert was held at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. APS Bank proudly supported this event, organised by the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta and the St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation, under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Dr George Vella, President of Malta.
The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted by Prof Michael Laus, with the participation of tenor Cliff Zammit Stevens and the Goldberg Ensemble who performed Cherubini’s Ave Maria, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, and the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.
Rachael Blackburn, APS Bank Head of Culture, commented that, “We are pleased to support the noble work done by the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta in the community, through fund-raising events such as this.”
