APS Bank is supporting Pitirross, an innovative children’s television programme, produced by Write Deal Association. Aimed at educating 8 to 12 year-olds about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the programme combines educational content with playful entertainment, featuring 34, five-minute episodes presented by teenagers.
Dedicated to each of the 17 SDGs, Pitirross utilises various engaging formats, including special features, animation, and graphics. Viewers will explore the social, environmental, and economic pillars, gaining insights into crucial issues such as ending poverty, promoting sustainable consumption, and fostering economic growth. The programme is being aired on local television channels and subsequently will be made available on YouTube, ensuring widespread reach to various audiences.
Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank, stated, “We are proud to endorse Pitirross as it aligns seamlessly with our commitment to sustainability and ignites a passion for positive change in the younger generations. By supporting the programme, APS Bank is reinforcing its dedication to nurturing informed, responsible citizens. Indeed, this is a continuation of the same message we deliver through the Malta Sustainability Forum. Empowering the younger generation with knowledge about the Sustainable Development Goals is pivotal in shaping a brighter, more sustainable future.”
