APS Bank plc collaborated with Klabb Kotba Maltin to support the donation of three hundred copies of Ġummienu to Rainbow Ward patients at the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre (SAMOC).
Charles Casha, the author, Frank Schembri, the illustrator, as well as representatives from APS Bank and Klabb Kotba Maltin were present during the book presentation to the nursing staff responsible for the care of the ward’s children. The story revolves around the escapades of a rabbit named Ġummienu who, despite being a pet, longs to reside in the countryside. One fateful day, Ġummienu manages to escape from his owner’s home, embarking on a series of thrilling adventures.
Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank, stated, “We are immensely pleased to have been able to distribute this colourful, entertaining book and hope that the children will be entertained by Ġummienu’s adventures. It is gratifying to be able to support deserving causes such as this, and we gladly accepted the opportunity to do so.”
Ġummienu is available for purchase at leading bookstores.
