The nation is presently struggling with an unparalleled labour and talent deficit, which is having a critical impact on business continuity and the nation’s competitiveness. The symposium addressed this issue by bringing all relevant parties together to explore concrete ideas for dealing with this reality, including employers, business leaders, legislators, and decision-makers at government agencies and authorities.
The Bank participated during focus groups that were set up before the conference, as the MEA sorted through voluminous feedback obtained from several employers and other stakeholders to produce ideas that would be discussed at this Forum.
