APS Bank offices and branches are this year again adorned with a range of decorative ideas, from Christmas trees to decorations of various kinds. The festive ambience is enhanced with an abundance of poinsettia plants in offices and branches, purchased in aid of Hospice Malta.
This year, the Bank engaged Fondazzjoni Sebħ to create a festive window display for APS Hub in St Julian’s, where a nativity scene created by children who make use of their services can be enjoyed by passersby. This NGO strives to nurture an environment for growth, recovery and fulfilment, ensuring the dignity and value of each individual, child and family for a more inclusive society. The Bank also made a financial contribution to support the foundation’s work.
The Bank offered promotional space on its large digital display screens across the branch network through an open call on social media. 20 local voluntary organisations (VOs) will be promoted through this channel
Rachael Blackburn, Head of Culture commented, “We continue to explore different ways to support as many voluntary organisations as possible, in our endeavours to be the community bank in Malta. By providing more visibility to these organisations, we hope to help them achieve their mission and increase awareness of their commitment to directly serve our community.”
