APS Bank recently held a first aid training course, equipping colleagues with essential life-saving skills. Held over three days at the Head Office in Swatar, the course provided practical training on responding to emergencies requiring first aid intervention.

Participants learnt critical techniques to deliver immediate care, helping to minimise harm until professional medical assistance arrives. The training was open to all colleagues, including those renewing expired certifications and new team members keen to enhance their emergency response skills.

Jeffrey Farrugia, Facilities Manager, highlighted the importance of the initiative: “Safety in the workplace is a shared responsibility. By equipping our colleagues with first aid training, we are not only fostering a safer work environment but also empowering individuals to act with confidence in emergencies.”

This training initiative underscores APS Bank’s commitment to workplace safety and employee wellbeing, ensuring a prepared and resilient workforce.
