APS Bank continues its Head Office transformation with latest workspace upgrades

APS Bank has recently completed another major refurbishment of an entire floor at its Head Office in Swatar. The project brings all units within the Risk Department together on one floor, improving collaboration while ensuring space for future growth.

The refurbishment includes several key enhancements designed to improve comfort, efficiency, and sustainability. A new air conditioning system now allows for simultaneous heating and cooling, ensuring a comfortable environment throughout the year, while improved fresh air circulation enhances air quality, contributing to a healthier workspace.

Acoustic solutions have also been upgraded, with the installation of wall acoustic panelling to reduce noise levels and support better focus. In line with sustainability efforts, sensor-controlled LED lighting has been introduced to optimise energy efficiency, alongside the repurposing of old furniture and the addition of green acoustic panel dividers for improved sound absorption.

Colleagues can now enjoy a modern chill-out area, thoughtfully designed with green moss walls, Maltese stone, and contemporary seating to provide a relaxing space. Additionally, a dedicated meeting room has been created, equipped with audio-visual facilities.

Charles Galea, Senior Manager of Projects, Physical Security, and Facilities, said: “This refurbishment reflects our commitment to providing a workspace that supports our people, promotes collaboration, and aligns with our sustainability goals. We are confident this transformation will further enhance our colleagues’ well-being and productivity.”
