APS Bank recently participated in the Champions Bank Tournament in Poreč, Croatia, sending a team of 16 colleagues to compete against other European financial institutions. After months of preparation, the team achieved a respectable top-16 finish out of 36 teams. More importantly, the tournament enhanced teamwork and strengthened bonds among colleagues, aligning with the values the Bank promotes.
Arnold Buttigieg, Senior Branch Manager and player commented: “On behalf of our football team, I would like to thank the Bank for this initiative and for giving us this memorable opportunity.”
In a related event, APS Bank also held a football match between senior management and the Bank’s official football team. This event provided an opportunity to foster team building and enhance friendship within the organisation, while promoting collaboration in a fun and relaxed environment.
Daniel Cassar, Chair of the Sports Committee, added: “These events help us build stronger relationships, enhance communication, and celebrate the spirit of teamwork which are vital to the Bank’s success.”
