APS Bank and the General Workers Union (GWU) organised an event at the GWU Headquarters, to announce the launch of voluntary personal and occupational pension plans for GWU members. These pension plans are designed to supplement the national pension, and help union members to be in a better financial position, for their retirement.

During the event, Kenneth Genovese, Head of Investment Distribution at APS Bank detailed the different pension schemes and explained, “At APS Bank, we recognise the importance of planning ahead to safeguard financial wellbeing in the years to come. Retirement should be a time of relaxation and fulfilment, free from financial worries. We are dedicated to offering comprehensive guidance and support from the outset of our customers’ financial journey, enabling them to prepare effectively for their future needs.” Through this collaboration, APS Bank is now extending favourable benefits to GWU members, while also promoting the government tax credit, available for those who sign up for a pension plan.

The Bank proudly celebrates this collaboration with the GWU and welcomes other unions and  individuals interested in starting their own pensions to visit the Bank’s website: apsbank.com.mt/personal-pension/
