The Foundation for Affordable Housing and APS Bank recently launched LoanUp, an innovative product offering enhanced borrowing rates and favourable terms, marking a significant step towards making homeownership more attainable.
LoanUp was specifically designed to assist individuals under the age of 30, with limited assets and who earn a maximum income of €30,000 to borrow up to 15% more than they could otherwise, empowering their pursuit of property ownership. Preferential terms are extended to applicants with lower incomes, dependents, and those seeking shorter loan terms.
Dr Jake Azzopardi, CEO of Affordable Housing, emphasised the Foundation’s commitment to social innovation, aiming to bridge the gap between social impact and financial value. He stated, “LoanUp embodies this ethos by granting much-needed access to homeownership, fostering social and financial freedom for young individuals and families.”
Marcel Cassar, APS Bank CEO, stated, “At APS Bank, we are dedicated to empowering individuals and families to achieve their dreams of homeownership. LoanUp represents our ongoing commitment to providing innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of our community.”
