APS Bank illuminated the façade of its Head Office in pink, standing in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. Additionally, all digital screens in the APS branch network displayed a poster to emphasise the month of October’s significance, acting as a constant reminder for both customers and passersby. The Bank’s Social Activities Committee (SAC) further supported this cause by distributing pink ribbon pins to colleagues and contributing to Europa Donna Malta.
Europa Donna Malta focuses on befriending and supporting individuals diagnosed with breast cancer, offering encouragement throughout treatment, recovery, and potential reconstructive surgery. Their dedication extends to aiding survivors in reclaiming a positive body image and a healthy lifestyle, while providing essential support to family and friends.
Ray Bonnici, Chief People Officer, and Chair of the SAC at APS Bank commented “During Pink October, we unite our voices in support of those impacted by breast cancer. This month reinforces the critical need to raise awareness, promote early detection, and invest in research for improved treatments.”
