Saturday 21 January marked the inauguration of the publication ‘L-Evanġelju skont San Mattew’ at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’ Pinu in Għarb, Gozo. The Bank sponsored this publication of the Gospel of Saint Matthew, which will be distributed to each household in Gozo by volunteers from the parishes over the coming weeks.
The ceremony was presided by Mgr Anton Teuma, Bishop of Gozo as part of a mass held for this occasion. Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank attended on behalf of the Bank and commented, “We are happy to be supporting this initiative by the Diocese of Gozo, which helps to spread Gospel teachings to the community of Gozo.”
