Recently over 400 APS Bank employees congregated at the Dolmen Hotel for the last Townhall of the year. Following a series of online Townhalls since February 2020, this was the first one held in person. These meetings are organised three times a year to provide staff with the latest updates on progress in the Bank.
Martin Scicluna, the Bank’s Chairman opened the event, reflecting on the positive performance of the Bank throughout the year. This was followed by presentations focusing on the Bank’s strategic priorities; an outlook on the economy; the financial projections for 2023-2025 and the launch of the Bank’s Customer Experience Strategy. A video highlighting the Bank’s activities throughout the year was also shared, bringing back memories of key events. A number of awards were also given during this gathering, including awards for academic achievements, the Athlete of the Year 2022 Awards, as well as the APS Bank Values Awards.
Mr Scicluna commented: “A lot has happened over the past year; another truly successful year for the Bank. The Bank’s continued success has two critical elements to it: a clearly thought-out business strategy supported by impeccable execution, and our team, the Bank’s most valuable resource. The success that has been registered would not have been possible without the excellent leadership of your senior management and the total, client focused, commitment delivered by all of you in this room on a daily basis. The Board and I would like to thank and congratulate you all for your efforts and performance. Prosit tassew”
