Leħen il-Malti (Għadd 41) is an annual publication containing various writings by different authors, brought together by the voluntary organisation Għaqda tal-Malti – Universita’ (“GħMu”). This publication is made up of a selection of submissions of work from the general public following an open call. It is a fine example of contemporary Maltese literary excellence, showcasing interesting studies of a linguistic nature, and the versatility and richness of the Maltese language.
During the book launch held at the Malta Book Festival, Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank commented in his speech at the launch event, “The request to support this publication was very much welcomed, as it is made up of poems, prose, academic studies and translations by different authors. It is also a platform for those who have never had the opportunity to express themselves through writing. This exposure can motivate some of these authors to continue to fascinate us with beautiful literature in the Maltese language.”
