APS staff and their families were invited to attend a Sports Fun Day at Melita Football Ground in Pembroke. Organised by the Bank’s Sports Committee, the activity consisted of various events for over 130 participants. Children took part in games designed for their age groups, while adults enjoyed the obstacle race, ultimate frisbee, gutter ball challenge, archery tag, and building the Da Vinci bridge. The grand finale was a tug of war challenge, where all teams competed to win the tournament.
Last week, over 100 staff members participated in a ten-pin bowling tournament at the Eden Super Bowl, taking over all the bowling lanes for the evening. There was great fun as colleagues competed for points and shouts of “strike” filled the air. A most enjoyable night came to an end as the winners were announced and CEO Marcel Cassar handed out the prizes.
Etienne Vella, Chairman of the Sports Committee commented, “It is always such a pleasure to bring colleagues and friends together, even with their families to socialise and get to know one another better, outside the office. Now the Committee looks forward to organising other fun-packed sports events in 2023.”
