APS Bank colleagues have been sharing their expertise at major local and international forums, covering key topics such as customer experience, risk-based banking, and corporate finance. Here are some highlights from their speaking engagements in January 2025:
- Scott Lee Holloway, Head of Customer Experience, participated as a virtual keynote speaker at the “International Customer Experience Management Summit London” organised by BINA, for the fourth consecutive year. Scott’s presentation was centred around using complaints as catalysts, covering how organisations can elevate their customer experience through excellence in complaints management, by deploying effective complaints management techniques.
- Simon Micallef, Head of Customer Profiling, participated as a panellist at the “Navigating Risk-Based Approach: Opening Corporate Bank Accounts in Malta” workshop, organised by FinanceMalta in collaboration with the Malta Banker’s Association. During this session, the panellists discussed “The best practices for successfully opening a corporate bank account”, including topics such as preparation and documentation, engagement and transparency, and the role of legal and compliance advisors.
- David Lanzon, Senior Portfolio Manager, participated as a panellist in the “Stock Buybacks and Corporate Market-Making Program” round table, organised by the Malta Stock Exchange. David contributed with his expertise to the section titled “Navigating the Share Buyback Landscape: balancing Corporate Strategy”. This discussion provided a platform for thought leaders, industry experts, and policymakers to share insights and strategies to enhance market efficiency and corporate value creation.
