APS Bank is proud to celebrate the inauguration of St Michael Hospice in Santa Venera on Sunday, 19 January 2025. The new complex will provide much-needed palliative care to over 1,500 patients each year, continuing Hospice Malta’s vital work of offering comfort, dignity, and support to those in need.

The country’s highest authorities attended the event, whose presence underscored the importance of collective commitment to supporting those facing serious illness with modern, in-patient facilities. Housed in the former Cini Institute generously handed over by the Church to Hospice Malta, and supported by Government, the NDSF, EU funds and various other agencies and benefactors, St Michael Hospice is the fulfilment of a long-held dream to provide the best quality palliative care in the community.

APS Bank CEO Marcel Cassar said: “Hospice Malta has been a lighthouse of care in our community, and we are proud to support its journey and the invaluable services it provides. St Michael Hospice is a testament to the vision and selfless dedication of countless people who made Hospice Malta over the years, and we continue to stand alongside them in making a difference in the lives of many.”
